The Titliest Performance Institute (TPI) screened and evaluated the physical attributes that professional golfers routinely bring to the table and which the average golfer is lacking. Based on these findings it developed a program to train Golf Professionals, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapists and Medical Practitioners to understand the correlation between a golfer's physical limitations and their swing flaws.
What does it mean for you?
Do you ever feel that you spent a lot of time on the range and never got better? Have you gone to a golf instructor, who informed you that you are "not making a good turn" or you are "coming over the top" or "you are swaying or sliding or lifting your head?" Despite your attempts to correct these flaws, you still fail?
Using the TPI format, as seen on the golf channel, Andreas will perform a Musculoskeletal Screen that identifies your physical limitations (i.e. strength, lack of postural awareness, flexibility, neuromuscular motor control, etc.). These physical limitations are often the reasons why you don't "make a good turn" or you "come over the top" or you "sway or slide."
By identifying the physical restrictions and providing corrective exercises you will eliminate these limitations. Now a correction of the golf swing is possible. In many cases, it is not your swing, it's your body that is not quite equipped to perform the task! Fix your body, and you can fix your swing!

2. Review
"Since 2017 I have had spinal stenosis which has kept me from playing golf. In June of 2022 I had a total left hip replacement and in August a total right knee replacement. In November I had multiple spinal injections which improved my back. I then saw Andreas from Summit Physical Therapy. He has helped me with the goal of returning to golf... He has taught me drills and exercises that are golf specific to increase my flexibility and improve my technique, recognizing my past injury challenges...I am confident that he started me in the right direction to get me back on the golf course on a regular basis..." - Joseph V.
